Your rabbits will shed roughly every 90 days. The degree in the severity of the shedding will vary each time, however most rabbits will have one “light shedding” that will be followed by a “heavier shedding” the next time around.
Rabbits need to be brushed at least once a week. In addition to removing any loose hair, this weekly brushing session will help prepare them for the multiple daily brushings that they must undergo when their heavy shedding begins.
Bald spots on rabbits are quite common while they are shedding. If bald spots occur from shedding, they will begin to grow back within a week or two.

The overwhelming majority of rabbits do NOT like to take baths, let alone getting wet. Even an occasional bath is quite stressful to the average rabbit, and is not recommended.
